Quizizz is a great K-12 product. For a 5-minute trivia opener at the start of a team meeting, the classroom-first interface adds friction the workplace use case does not need.

Self-paced quizzes for classrooms are Quizizz's home turf. The teacher dashboards, homework assignments, and the question bank tied to curricula are real strengths. For a Tuesday math review, the right tool.
Where workplace teams hit the wall
Quizizz is a classroom-first product, and that shape comes through. Dashboards for tracking student progress, homework modes, lesson-plan templates, and class-roster assumptions are all there at the workplace expense. For a facilitator who just wants to run a 10-question trivia at the start of an all-hands, most of that surface area is in the way rather than helping.
What we built differently
Live multiplayer trivia for team meetings. No classes, no rosters, no homework. The facilitator writes the questions, opens a room, shares the link in the meeting chat, and the team plays for five minutes. When the meeting is over the room closes. That is the entire product surface.

- Is there a free tier?
- Yes. The whole product is free for facilitators and free for participants. No per-seat fee.
- Can I import my Quizizz questions?
- No. Question formats are different and we do not have an importer. Writing a 10-question quiz from scratch in Quick Quiz takes about five minutes.
- Does it support self-paced or homework mode?
- No. Quick Quiz is live-only. Everyone answers the same question at the same time, the facilitator advances when the room is ready. If you need self-paced or async, Quizizz is the right tool.
- How many participants can join a quiz?
- Comfortable for up to about 50 in a single room. For larger groups we recommend breakouts of 10 to 15.
